Review: A Godsend! - First, a little medical history. About ten years ago, I began to suffer from gall bladder attacks. The HIDA scan showed my gall bladder was functioning at about 10% capacity, so out it came. I did moderately well after recovery, though I suffered from bouts of diarrhea when I ate anything to fatty. I was told that was normal. Fast forward about five years and I began to suffer from digestive difficulties again. This time the issues seemed to be bloating, gas, gerd, nausea and diarrhea. Following an episode of blood diarrhea, I was given a endo- and colonoscopy. They found over a dozen polyps, a couple of which were pre-cancerous. I seemed to be better following their extraction. I was told I dodged a bullet. Fast forward to the last year, and the digestive difficulties returned again. This time much worse than ever before. I couldn't eat anything without suffering from extreme bloating and gas, stomach pains, diarrhea of the "Oh, God, just kill me now" variety, horrific nausea, and now dizziness and rapid heart beat. **Q: Are the glandular tissues sourced from certified non-GMO fed animals?**
A: It doesn't say whether it is sourced from non-GMO fed animals.  I am into certified, organic and non-GMO also. Even though this product doesn't say or support my beliefs, it has done wonder for my digestion system.  My colon is a lot healthier, my hair is thicker, the bloating is almost gone and I can eat any food and not have to worry about it staying longer than necessary in my system. This OX BILE really helps to absorb the fat soluble vitamins.  Consequently, that is why my skin is moist and my face looks 15 years younger than I am.  The rewards outweigh the risks.  I can make up the difference in eating healthy, getting my sleep, and exercising.  This is the best product for many types of ailments

**Q: I am curious as to whether any of you (without a gallbladder) have experienced improved/increased weight loss while using this?**
A: After gallbladder removal, it's easy to end up not absorbing enough fat-soluble vitamins like A & D, even if you eat foods rich in them. Bile is necessary to make the oil droplets form an emulsion with water, so that your intestinal cells can grab onto the nutrients they carry. One of the symptoms of not getting enough vitamins A + D is... Obesity. So, no guarantees, but it *might* help. (To answer the question asked: Yes, when I started using bile supplements I lost several pounds without changing what or how much I ate. I take one at the same meal as my daily multivitamin, and an additional 1-2 if I happen to have a greasy meal.)

After having my gallbladder removed in 2010, I started having issues after every meal. I gained weight and realized my body is not metabolizing fat. My brother had his out and has not suffered from the consequences, but I have. I started taking enzymes, and in the experimental phase with them and ox bile, I bought a bottle of enzymes with ox bile in the capsule (225 mg). I found that I couldn't control the amount of ox bile I took and if I needed more, I was also taking more enzymes. This formulation is perfect for me; I take supplements of vitamins as well as enzymes, and this pill is small; the dosage is small so I can take a small amount with a small meal and increase the number of capsules based on the fat load in the meal. My digestion has returned to regularity and as others have shared, I no longer swing back and forth between constipation and diarrhea. I am still having trouble shifting much weight, but that's from hormonal issues and menopause and age, but at least I am maintaining my weight and have stopped gaining, holding steady at the same weight for over a year now. I am grateful to have found these. While it seems economical to have one pill with everything in it, the important thing for me came down to the appropriate dosage for my system. I am grateful to have found this and I know that it provides my liver with support and relief when managing fats and hormones. I recommend this brand and this dosage to anyone with digestive issues related to gallbladder failure or removal; no pill is going to put our bodies back the way they were before an organ comes out, and aging presents us with specific challenges, but these pills have relieved my discomfort after eating and has helped me regulate my digestive issues, which is a huge relief in many ways, at many levels.
