It's moderately sturdy, as it would take some concerted effort to break it but it won't break from light to regular proper use and assembly. Adjusting the angles is a bit of a learning curve but it's not bad once you get used to it. On the left side of the desk, the bar can make it difficult to plug in cords and keep them plugged in. Also, the fan is powered by USB plugged into your computer so I don't recommend using the fan if you aren't going to keep your laptop plugged in. The best part of this product is the packaging.
