Gun safety is of paramount importance especially when it comes to the loved ones you hope to protect. So, a little extra dedication in that regard can go a long way. Enter the Identilock, a trigger guard lock that can be removed with the touch of my finger (and only my finger...well, actually make that my trigger finger, middle finger, or a finger on my left hand). Since I am the only user, and there are so many different angles you can use within the print programming, it allowed me to use my imagination a bit when thinking through hand position scenarios. It has also proven to be very reliable at reading the prints. The mechanism seems to be both quicker and more reliable than my Samsung S8 which is really saying something. Somehow this lock is ahead of the print tech game. Ive had multiple people check it out and not one false opening.Good:* seems to be the best print reader out there (not sure how they pulled that off).* very portable* battery life seems to be good to great* manual key back up* multiple prints can be programmed* fast, very fastBad:* a bit heavy* can be challenging to program if youre not into instructions or videos* I dont know long term lifespanFinal thoughts: Identilock has given me a lot of confidence and peace of mind when it comes to gun safety.
