The pot contained most (not all) of the oil splatter, heated up quickly, and was easy to clean. I’ve made tempura, French fries, fried fish, etc. and they’ve all turned out wonderfully. If you’re going to buy this I’d recommend using it outdoors or put some parchment paper around the area you’re cooking, as some oil will inevitably splash when you put food in or take it out.
