The book looks at how the liberal left is tearing the Constitution down and tearing away the moral focus of the country. The giveaways at the expense of those who work for a living, the destruction of the religious tenets of the nation. the out and out war against women, the punishment through defamation of those who speak out against the destruction of morality, the ruination of our children by a dumbing down process through the common core curriculum, the social re-engineering of the military, and the racial divisions encouraged by Obama are all documented in this book. Dick Morris knows the workings of the liberal left from his days working in the Clinton Administration and his analysis of political issues today. The book is scary. Things he warns about have come true. We do live in perilous times and true patriots are now in the minority while the takers of money from the working class rely more and more on an all pervasive government. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good point but why repeat it so many times? *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2014* I've read only the first dozen pages, but it's very repetitive thus far.He repeats many times that Obama has and is tyrannically, unconstitutionally and illegally making or modifying laws, usurping the authority of congress. I believe that is accurate and a scary problem for us now and in the future. That Obama so clearly neither understands nor respects half of Americans is unbelievable-- how did so limited a person ever get elected, how did he ever even get nominated or considered for national office? He must be stopped.Allowing illegal immigration to pack future ballot boxes in favor of Democrats is simply awful, though I'm not sure South Americans will remain liberal. Raised steeped in conservative Catholic Christian culture with crystal clear fundamental values, as they achieve success themselves, they may well see the deadening of their society and destruction of values brought by the welfare state, return to their conservative roots and work ethic, and strongly support capitalism with its clear values, higher standard of living and greater opportunity for all.But the repetition of Obama's lawmaking and usurping is almost like he wrote this idea slightly differently many times for many different columns and speeches, and now just pastes them all together end to end.I hope the later pages are better, with good points well and concisely made, as his past books have done.Morris has such broad experience with both parties that the reader cannot presume he is definitely in the conservative camp.
