Review: Do not buy. - This dual monitor does not work out of the box. It needs drivers to be installed which are mounted as a drive the first time the dual monitor is connected. The drive will not be mounted after that. Looked for the driver on Acer web site, there were none. The second monitor ( upper monitor ) does not start no matter what I do. It goes into sleep mode. I spent 6 hours trying to fix it ( no documentation on the web ) until I finally called technical support. Waste of time. The first technician had no clue on how to resolve the issue and referred me to "Higher Level" who never called me back. I called 2 days later and still the second technician couldn't resolve the issue. I am strongly disappointed with this dual monitor. Do not buy it. It is not worth the price.

This dual monitor does not work out of the box. It needs drivers to be installed which are mounted as a drive the first time the dual monitor is connected. The drive will not be mounted after that. Looked for the driver on Acer web site, there were none. The second monitor ( upper monitor ) does not start no matter what I do. It goes into sleep mode. I spent 6 hours trying to fix it ( no documentation on the web ) until I finally called technical support. Waste of time. Great monitor and quality. Not sure why both screens with some laptops it works with a single usbc connected. On mine the only thing i dont like is I have to connect hdmi, a usbc to the laptop and another usbc to keep it powered on. I would give it 5 stars in a heartbeat if it worked with more laptops using a single cable.
