**Q: how far apart are the clips where they touch the lenses?**
A: 1 1/8 inch or 28mm.

**Q: I need my sunglasses dark. Are these dark enough?**
A: To be honest they aren't the darkest. Compared to other generic sunglasses I have I would say these are lighter for sure. They do the job but they're noticably not as dark. Hope that helps.

**Q: How far does the bridge “opens”?**
A: If you mean how far the clips that go on your glasses open when you squeeze it, nearly half an inch.  These have worked really well for me.
