So yes, they're permanent. **Q: What color is this transfer** A: Black transfer. White transfer **Q: Can this be put on a mirror?** A: Yes, I've put several on mirrors and glass. **Q: Can this transfer be cut in order to have one of the barn only and two of the written transfers?** A: This item comes prepacked with three separate pieces. Two pieces make up the barn and the third section is the writing. We are unable to separate the prepacked item. You would need to purchase two of the item to get two complete barns transfers and two word transfers. This is my first attempt at a transfer. The only thing I needed that was not included was scissors, a razor blade and something to seal it after it is on.
