I primarily ride a rented Icelandic, but having this pad gives me the flexibility to transfer my saddle to other horses when I need to. After several months of use it is still in excellent condition. This is perfect, has a nice curved shape along the spine so it doesn't fit tightly right along his withers. Also, I don't have to mess with several pads, straps, and Velcro - I can just whip this on and I'm tacked up in seconds. Love it - about to order a few more so I can have one in the wash every few weeks.
