I have a callogen conditioner by this brand that I love, so I figured I'd try their kit. This kit works very well and the end result was very soft, shiny, healthy looking hair. And bonus it did not lighten my color. Some kits do. Now the bad part. The straightening creme is VERY strong. Prepare yourself for watery eye, tingling nose hair, burning throat, chest on fire, and the need for fresh air, during application. I always do this in my bathroom with windows open, a fan, and a vent; but really ...outside would have been better for this kit. I honestly wasnt sure I'd make it through the application and almost gave up. But i pushed through it. After it is processed and dried its more tolerable. Putting a straight iron to it caused a bit of a steam that was a bit rough but tolerable. I did not have any skin reactions. And once it was done and washed out, it left my hair smelling clean. Some kits leave an odor for a day or two but surprisingly didn't. I gave it 5 star because the end result is amazing. But prepare yourself with a well ventilated area.
