Review: Great for keeping lotion on my dry, cracked heels. - I bought these socks along with some urea lotion to help heal the dry skin and cracks on my heels. They are working really well and I've enjoyed using them. Upon opening them I did notice a very strong smell. Like baby powder. I washed them in my washer twice with soap and the smell still did not go away. It has been about a week now and the smell isn't so bad that it's the only thing I can smell in my house. So hopefully that will go away after a couple more washes. I have been washing them in the washer, even though it says to hand wash them and they've held up fine. I like that my toes aren't covered so I don't get too hot while I sleep. They do look funky but they work. They fit my foot pretty well, I wear a size 7 women's shoe and the sock is not too tight around my toes or my ankle.

Very pleased with these. They really work, especially if using a pumice in the morning after removing them, makes it really easy to remove dead skin. They are very soft and reasonably comfortable so it’s not an issue during sleep. Not really a fan of the rose scent but that’s not too strong and dissipates after a few days. These wash well. It would be nice if the hem seam at the front end was finished the same way as the ankle end. This is very nice and flat, the one at the front has a bit of a protruding roll. Altogether, these are worth it. They do the job, are comfortable, and a good value.
