If the sun has bleached it out or faded it won’t bring it back. **Q: What do you recommend for slightly deeper scratches, please** A: If the scratch is deep that your finger nail gets stuck. Then unfortunately you will require correct paint job from bodyshop. **Q: Can anyone tell me the grit rating ie. 1000, 1500 etc?** A: Not sure but temper what you need to what you are polishing. I think my before and after photo writes the review for me :D I am currently prepping my car to sell and had to try and remove these marks where someone had very kindly hit my car and driven off. I managed to remove some of the marks where it was a paint transfer but the ones in my photo remained no matter what. I just used a microfiber cloth, dolloped on some T-Cut then buffed it in. I had to go over it about 4 times but in total it took me less than 10 minutes.
