The idea of NOT having to burn off food residue and clean up the grates after grilling greatly appealed to me, so I thought I would give them a try. I tried them - and I absolutely LOVE them! they work perfectly! The meat still gets those pretty grill marks on it , and since the fat doesn't drop into the flame - No flares ups! awesome! Best part is - no messy grates to clean afterwards! I simply pulled the mat off of the grill - let it cool less than a minute and was able to pick it up and take it inside to wash in the sink. BEAUTIFUL! My new grill continues to look brand new. The only advice I have is to be careful when trying to flip the burger or chicken because the meat does not stick at all and you may find yourself chasing it around the mat :) I now use a fork or some other utensil to hold it in place while I slide the turner underneath what I'm cooking. I have given these to my kids and recommend them to all my friends that I know love grilling.
