I've got several UPS's and all my critical electrical circuits are on a battery and generator backup system, so I really wanted to know, quickly and easily, when my grid power goes out. Similarly, my home network is kinda over-complicated, with a cable modem, a dedicated firewall/router, network switch, and mesh wifi. A nice clear text to my phone when the internet drops is really appreciated. The MySpool solved both problems simultaneously, with no hassle. And I appreciate that MySpool is an American company with local servers, not based in China. The only confusing step was that MySpool uses the AWS system for their email alerts, so you have to pay attention and be careful to accept a prompt from AWS to be added to an AWS distribution list, then do a little magic with your email account so you won't accidentally unsubscribe or send your alerts to your spam bucket. That is well documented on their web page. All in all, I'm quite satisfied. I've tried getting both to work on several wifi networks while using several devices to connect with, and haven't been able to get it working. The issue is after connecting to the units WiFi network, I can't click the blue buttons in their app, none of them function.
