I had to open the hood and manually push the disconnect button. Then I read the instructions. The remote will not let you disconect it if it is above a 13.3v just incase you are driving down the road and someone presed the remote off button. It workes gerat for my pickup truck. But I have to reset my radio and clock each time I use it.
