Plugged in my Polar HR unit, strapped it all on and checked my watch and my HR was right there on the watch, perfect - until I started running. The HR readings at the end of the run were all over the place and meaningless. The HR monitor had kept dropping out and giving no reading so the 'graph' was all spikes up and down. I tried a couple of runs and had exactly the same results. I checked the connections where the HR unit plugs into the chest strap and it was obvious that the female connections on the chest strap were too loose and the male connections were basically rattling about a bit when I ran giving spurious and inconsistent readings. Luckily I had bought this via Amazon and it was returned immediately for full refund with no quibbles.This should be a simple design fix but maybe they are trying to be all things for all HR monitors and end up with a connector that is just too loose - at least for the Polar one. It's a pity as they are half the price of a new Polar replacement strap which are extortionately overpriced for what they are. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, and works well. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 July 2018* Bought this to replace my Garmin forerunner chest strap which was no longer registering the correct heart rates. This item arrived next day, and is perfect. It is soft and comfortable (more so than the garmin strap which has excessive stitching on the top which rubs), the colour is great too. Having used it every day since it arrived so far the readings have been very accurate. I would say it's even more comfortable than Polar one. I have no iritation on my skin due chest strap anymore. Connection with Polar app is without problem together with reading, which is accurate.
