I've got a astra Sri that uses mini fuses and there's no problem at all. Just remember that it can be fitted the wrong way around. You need to be sure that the power for the auxiliary circuit your adding doesn't go through the fuse as well as the original load, otherwise it will be carrying twice the load. I did actually get a very small flat head screwdriver and press that into the fuse holder to bend back the pins a little and this helped.
