However, as the heatsink is reversible (and hence removable), this is not a problem.They appear to be really good quality and the light is much better being a cleaner white and projecting further than even my Osram Night Breaker bulbs which these have replaced. Let's hope they last as long or longer. Overall I'm really happy.October Update. These 'survived' a 3000 mile trip through Spain into Morocco.
