Nothing to peel off. **Q: Does the lid stay on the teapot when pouring liquid?** A: Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Had to ask the parents of the toddler your question. The lid snaps on tightly. It won't let me add a video but I'll put it with my review. It seems like it will totally stay on when filled with liquid. However, parental supervision is recommended at all times! Hope this helps! **Q: How large are the tea cups? (Or how much will liquid will they hold)?** A: They hold about 3oz of liquid just enough to play tea party with a toddler . the cups are 2 inches tall, 7 inches round . **Q: About how much does the teapot hold?** A: Not that much, but enough so that your LO can pour and serve. The cups don't hold very much either.
