Worked great and was very comfortable. I have 4 kids aged 3-12 and they all used masks of this design. I also bought one for a friend's son (5 year old) and he loved it as well! (I had to find smaller sizes for my youngest 2 but I found what we needed here on Amazon) We reviewed all the safety concerns about these masks before use and decided that we were comfortable with the risks and with being responsible for our own safety. I highly recommend you explain the warning signs of hypoxia to your children before having them use a mask like this and of course be sure to supervise them at all times. I ordered this model for myself as well and it was extremely comfortable. There is no way my 3 year old could have snorkeled without this so it was great that he got to participate too!! I love snorkeling but traditional snorkel masks hurt my septum piercing and sometimes breathing through the tube weirds me out so thought I’d give this a try. It’s very comfortable around your face and makes breathing feel a lot easier. Mine did fog up quite a few times despite the “anti fog” advertisement. Someone suggested maybe wearing it tighter would help. When it would fog and I had to take it off to clean it, it would be hard for me to tighten the mask appropriately while I was in the water as I could not reach the bottom. Other than that, I love this mask. Great value for the price. The reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because I realized after using it I’m not a fan of the full face mask. After hearing of the deaths caused by this type of mask (not this one in particular) I was a little freaked out to use it. When I did use it though it didn’t leak but did fog up a bit. It’s easy to use and fits comfortably. There were times I felt light headed while using the mask. After about 20 min of using it I would take it off and that seemed to help with the dizziness. Before buying it I would recommend you do your research on the full face mask. Others have used it and love it, while others like myself didn’t enjoy it so much.
