I'm using this for a digital controlled toaster oven (100V, max 1350W) for a while and there has been no issue. Electrical devices such as motors require more power than steady-state power consumption because of the large current flow at startup. Rice cookers are heaters, so I don't think you need to worry about this issue. **Q: Do you make one with a higher wattage capacity? My Japanese rice cooker uses 1850W.** A: We have a plan to manufacture converters with higher wattage capacity that use Japan appliances in US or CA. But it need time.
