I have no doubt the high setting will keep my hands toasty on those below zero days as well as 2 other lower settings for milder days. The zipper battery compartments are under your wrist instead of on top and which give them good balance. Charging was a piece of cake as they come with a 2-pronged cable with power wall adapter.
