Review: Age-based helmet sizing does not work. - This helmet is good value for the money. We purchased a 3 to 8 year old size helmet expecting that our one year old grandson (who is big (but within normal size range) for his age) would grow into it. However, it was too small and we had to send it back. This is probably going to be true for any helmet you select. So be prepared to do a lot of ordering and returning until you are satisfied with the fit and the quality of the helmet you settle on.
Review: good fit, lots of pads - Lots of foam pads to adjust to the child's head.
