It looks like a toy, but it works. The minute I pushed that button, blessed silence. A few confused looks... a tentative attempt to restart, another blast (which didn't bother me since I couldn't hear it) and blessed silence again. I've had three of these the past few years, none of them have broken. Sadly, I've misplaced them. I'm on my fourth one and they are so worth it. I always want to keep one by the door since the cacophony is more than I can stand when someone comes to the door. I can't think or talk to someone until I grab this and point it at them. They're so used to it now, that all I have to do is point it at them and give them the evil eye and they back up and shut up. My teenage grandson said that he could hear it and I asked him if it bothered him... he said it wasn't pleasant. I will never be without one of these. I so like the impression I'm giving by pointing this thing...so much classier than when I was screaming "shut up" at the dogs and chasing them trying to get a hold of their collars. I have three dogs who aren't used to company... this saves a lot of aggravation and chaos. Recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked for what I purchased it for *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2019* I purchased to curb hyper behavior while walking and in the vehicle. Our dog would concentrate on oncoming traffic and when it got to where it would pass in opposite lane she would lunge across the back seat and then into the rear of the SUV. Within 5 minutes she stopped. When she would begin to lunge I would press the button and tell her no. As soon as I had the lunge motion under control I then concentrated on her fixation when she would see the vehicles coming. When I would see her "fix" on the traffice I push the button and way "stop". Within 10 minutes no more bad behavior. And the rest of the 1 hour car ride you coulnd't even tell she was there. I have only used it for her pulling leash when walking for about 5 minutes. It is making a difference but will continue training with her. Even with just the car issues, I am very satisfied with my purchase! And she is a large Lab/Chesapeake mix at 80 pounds ### ⭐ Only lights up now. *by O***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2019* Received it on May 1st, it worked great. Used it once or twice before dogs only needed to see it to stop barking.... Unfortunately in less than 30 days it no longer works, the light still works but nothing else.
