It works well once you learn to place your head at the right spot to register on the device. This does mean for me as a person who is 5ft 9inches, I have to stand outside the prayer mat to ensure the counter registers correctly each time. Very large display which I liked very much. The material of the prayer mat is very crinkly and it's not like the soft fabric material generally found in prayer mats. It can feel like you are reading on paper. This is probably the biggest downside of the product.
