The main headache used to be the havoc trailer on terrible LA roads and salt water would wreak on trailer lights. It was nothing for me to replace several sets per years.These lights put an end to that nightmare - big time!!! These are absolutely fantastic lights. The last set lasted me SIX YEARS. I don't even think about buying another brand. I abuse the heck out of them and they just keep on working. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Submersible? (Not Really!) Trailer Light *by D***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2014* I replaced both the left and right LED trailer lights for my Harbor Freight folding cargo trailer. These were easy to install and brighter than the lights that came with the trailer. I hope that these LEDs will end the obnoxious bulb and fuse replacement cycle I have been going thru with this cargo trailer.BUT, I would NOT install these lights on a BOAT trailer. These appear to be your basic "Made In China" lower quality LEDs. While the packaging and ad indicate that they are submersible, I see no difference between these and regular LED trailer lights. They do not look to be very well sealed and they are not bell-jar type lights. Bell jar lights put the bulb and electrics in a self draining air pocket. The seals on these eventually will fail under pressure from dunking during boat loading. Since there is no drain, water will eventually get trapped inside these lights. That water and condensation will corrode and eventually short the wiring and/or LEDs. Also of note, the wire-ends and connectors are obviously not marine rated -- at all. The wire ends are NOT tinned and the connectors are the simple automotive butt-end crimped type. For a truly water-proof connection, you will have to provide your own.Given that I am using these on only a cargo trailer, I will keep them, but if this was a boat trailer, they'd be going back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good bright lights work well on my trailer (not boat) *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2016* Would have been 5 stars, but you have to buy right and left separately which I didn't notice in the small print.
