The Original Series retractable key chain is popular because of its vintage look and the flexibility of customizing the reel to your specifications. Choose either the retractable 24" vintage steel chain or the retractable cord made with DuPont Kevlar fiber. Next, choose between a classic cold-rolled steel chrome plated front or a more inconspicuous black vinyl cover. Lastly, choose how you'd like to secure the key reel to your side, with either a stationary steel belt clip, a steel belt loop, removable rotating belt clip or a leather duty belt loop. Although it is often copied, there has still never been another retractable key reel that matches the quality, durability or versatility of the Original KEY-BAK Retractable Key Chain. From the Manufacturer The Duty-Gear Series of Retractable Key Silencers and Key Accessories from KEY-BAK are ideal for law enforcement, casino, hotel and security professionals. The Original #1BL Retractable Reel is Made in the USA and engineered for a lifetime of use. Built with a stainless steel spring, the exterior is a textured-black, vinyl-coated steel, 2-inch diameter case. With 8 ounces of retraction force, the reel will hold anything equal in weight to 15 large keys. Included is a chrome plated split ring and swivel end fitting for increased durability and versatility. With a 2.25-inch belt loop, Duty-Gear products fit even the largest of duty belts. Originally invented in 1948, KEY-BAK reels have become an invaluable tool for professionals who rely on secure and convenient access to their keys. KEY-BAK reels also work for small hand tools, gauges, flashlights, identification and outdoor gear. We stand behind every product we manufacture with a Lifetime Service Policy.
