When we opened one up to try it, surprisingly it already had a full charge which will last for 40 minutes. It has a HD display, which shows you the remaining of the battery and speed settings. The Handle has two buttons to push at the same time to start the blade, for safety reasons, but is easy to do. I got a box and zipped right thru that box! I then doubled the pieces and it again cut right thru efficiently.
