It also writes smoothly with the nib held in reverse (makes a clean fine line). I've used mine regularly for over a week now and I have enjoyed it every time. I use the ink converter with Waterman ink. Super happy. Everything I wanted from a fountain pen. Outstanding value for money.

At the age of 70, I have used many fountain pens. This one happens to be the best. It is 'heavy' and feels good in the hand. Compared to a famous brand, it is my view, that it is far superior in quality, weight, feel, and style. More importantly I must give the Company 10 out of 10 for customer service. They actually reply!! Unlike some firms I could mention. There it is. A great pen for the money and much better than those costing treble! Supported by first class service. Very IMPRESSED.
