Polypropylene and food grade plastic. Great combination. I've use PP labware for decades and it's great after breaking so many glass flasks.These would be great for experimentation in the kitchen with various spices and sauces. You can temporarily store the concoction in the refrigerator.The volume graduations are fairly close, so they can be used.

The flacks are "food grade", so it is safe to make and/or store homemade condiments, also great for liquids or powders (like vinegar, citric acid, baking soda, etc). Each flask has engraved volume marks, so it comes very handy when making your own meat/fish marinades, salad dressings, etc. The caps on flasks close tightly.The downside is that the measurement marks starts at 200 ml, so if you need to pour just 50 or 100 ml of something, you would still need a measuring cup. After the 200 ml mark, the increment is by 50 ml. After the 400 ml increment, the measurement lines come in by 25 ml until the 500 ml mark on the flask is reached.

This is a great heavy duty flask and is exactly as the Product Page described. It seems to be made of High Quality Materials and has been working great for me. I'm happy with it and do recommend it.
