Top three buttons very easy to program and use (I immediately reprogrammed the 911 button to a family member's phone number.) Numerals on keys 1" tall, very bold and easy to read. The amplifier in the hand set is a nice and useful feature. The hand set we received is different than pictured on the website; there is no volume control on it, the volume is controlled by a slide button on the rear of the telephone itself along with other controls. The red light at the bottom of the phone illuminates and flickers when the phone rings, and seems to very briefly flicker on occasion even when phone is not ringing; I don't know if that is from the phone or the service provider, but it does not happen often. There is no speaker phone, you can speak and hear only on that handset. The phone is surprisingly light in weight.
