Excellent signal reception at the nose bleed section of the ballpark. The sound is clear and only requires 50% volume. An attractive looking face. It comes with a 15 inch lanyard and comfortable ear phones. I am very happy with this portable radio purchase.

I use these radios most everyday until the battery usage times drop off. This takes about a year. That said these are great little radios that I have been using for over 12 years.

This is my third try at getting a radio I can use to listen to post-game shows and while commuting on local light rail system. It's the best so far.It charges easily with USB-C, and the charge last way more than I need. Once you figure it out (don't throw away the instructions too fast) it's easy to use.The down sides:- I don't think I think the way Chinese designers do. You really need to spend 15 minutes figuring things out. That said, it's more obvious than the previous two I've had, and the instructions are, well, ok.- Chinese FM must use different standards than North America. In the US and Canada, FM operates between 88 and 108 mega hertz, and only at odd multiples of 0.1 MHz (like 93.1, 93.3, but not 93.2). This thing can operate between 64 and 108 MHz, and at any multiple of 0.1 MHz; setting things up is tedious.Other than that, I'm very happy.

Not easy to read especially in sunlight. But once you can tune in your station and put the earphones in your all set

Update to Review Below:I'd Give Retekess 6 stars if I could for two reasons. 1-The replacement tuner they sent me works perfectly ! All the problems I reported for original do not exist now. The tuner has excellent working time on a single charge (a full week of use a couple of hours per day). Further, all tuner functions work as stated in the manual. It's exactly what I wanted from a mobile tuner and the Retekess delivers! 2-Retekess' customer service is above average. Within a day of the post of my original review Retekess contacted me without prompting and offered a free replacement. They get points from me for this alone. Retekess CS also stayed in touch during shipping and receipt to ensure I received the replacement and asked for feedback on how it worked (I'll direct them to this review). If you need a lightweight, long lasting tuner, the Retekess is highly recommended!Original 2 Star Review: I've owned this tuner about a year and it was wonderful when it worked, but it never worked perfectly. A major problem concerned the battery. From the start It would power up to full no problem (3 bars). However, even when off it would drain over a few days from 3 bars to 2. Not a big deal but within a day of use (2-3 hours on and off), it would drop to one blinking bar meaning it was about to die, and did so within a few minutes. My tuner never, ever displayed one solid bar to give me time to recharge it.One more thing that's happened within the past two weeks is as funny as it is frustrating. When trying to store a station or two to memory (none stored), the device simply stated "NO" (see pic). When I pressed memory store more than once I'm surprised it didn't state "Hell No", followed by "What part of NO did you not understand!", but I guess there's no room on the LCD for that-LOL!Odds are high I simply had a faulty unit, but I just ordered similar type of device from another manufacturer on Amazon.

Updated review: The product no longer works after just 4 months. There must be manipulation of the star rating algorithm happening on Amazon. This thing was JUNK! This is one of those Amazon purchases that on hindsight I didn't really need and if I saw this in person /at a store would not have purchased based on the look/feel of the product.. Yes I need a small handheld portable radio and this does work. It's just not amazing. It''s very light, plastic. There is a PRONOUNCED hiss when the radio is playing, even on the stations that comes in cleanly on other devices. My Apple iPod with radio has a MUCH better reception for the stations, no hiss whatsoever. A bit tricky setting the stations but once I figured it out (included directions are not very instructive) it's fine. I truly miss the days of the classic Sony Walkman. Now that was something to write sonnets about! The Retekess pocket radio...it's fine. After a week of use I have downgraded this to 2 stars. UPDATE: One of the earbuds has stopped working after 1 month. I really don't understand all the 5 star reviews. I think there are some manipulation/ bots on these 5 star reviews. 1 star after 1 month of use. FINAL UPDATE 12/12/2024: 4 months after purchase it no longer works!!

A great little radio. I love it.
