Easy to install. Peel the tape and put the alarm on the door and the smaller sensor on the door frame. Turn the switch off if you want to keep the door open. Switch it back on when you want to close the door for the night or whenever. It is a small device but has a loud alarm which I like. Keep the package so you know what kind of battery to buy when the time comes. Good buy for the money.
