We have a van and these work very well! They are lightweight enough for me to easily handle. Extended, they are perfect to easily roll his open wheel chair into the back of the van. Out easier for me to walk between the two ramps vs being on a wide ramp into the van.Then we telescope them (again, they’re nice and light) and use them to enter various homes when visiting. Very disappointed, this is the second pair I purchased, the first ones I really liked and work well, but I needed a shorter set, so purchased these. I would return them but we need them for an upcoming trip and there isn't enough time to return them and get another set. I wish they would make these so they could be adjusted to different lengths between the fully extended and the not extended. This would have made the longer set we initially purchased more useable for various applications.
