Shaded from the sun for 20 days to increase the levels of chlorophyl and the amino acid L-theanine, cool temperatures in the mountain areas slows leaf growth and concentrates aroma in the leaf. The Gyokuro green tea plants are grown without chemical fertilizers, and leaves are picked when they are young for a smooth, rich and aromatic organic green tea.Brew the perfect cup of Gyokuro green teaTemperature, amount of leaf, type of water and steep time are important factors you need to get right to make the perfect cup of hot Gyokuro Japanese green tea.
