Review: Excellent Painting Sponges - I bought these to do some cloud effects on my bedroom walls and these were the only ones I could find that were decently sized for the price and gotta say, they are great. They soften up nicely in water, but still hold their shape, are big enough to do the effects I want (and also to hold onto). I also like the fact that the company sent me an email with care instructions for use and cleaning them. Good sponges and a good company to work with. I would happily use them again and recommend their products to other artist friends.

**Q: Dear Seller:  Would you assume that because these sponges are not bleached, they will last longer than those that are?
I use them in the kitchen.**
A: Thank you for your question. We would not assume that because a sponge is unbleached that they will last longer than those that are. While unbleached sea sponges can generally be comparatively stronger (and not as soft) as their bleached counterparts, their “toughness” would also be dependent on the type of sponge itself.  Lullingworth’s Natural Sea Sponges 2 pack have been specifically selected for painting. The size of pores of these natural sea sponges is ideal for decorating because of the depth and texture effects they can create. As a result, they will not necessarily last longer than bleached sponges.  Also, their longevity will be affected by frequency of use and by wear and tear.  For kitchen use, we would recommend a denser, smaller pored sea sponge such as the Fina sponge.  Thank you for your interest in Lullingworth.

**Q: They are bigger than I expected, which is nice, but I gather it is ok to cut them to any size you need?**
A: Thank you for your question and we are happy to hear that you found our sponges to be larger than expected. Yes you can cut these into separate sponges or trim these to the size you require. Thank you for your interest in Lullingworth.

**Q: Can these sponges be used to remove stains off wallpaper when used with warm water and soap?**
A: Natural sea sponges can be an effective cleaning tool, given their ability to hold water and to produce a good lather with the soap or detergent used. However, whether it will be successful for this purpose will depend on the type of stain and if the wallpaper is suitable for cleaning with a sponge, soap and water.

**Q: What is the largest size you sell? I was interested in exfoliation of the skin Via bath soak.**
A: The largest natural sponge we sell in the Lullingworth range is in this Natural Sea Sponge for Artist 2 pack which measure 5-5.5” when wet.  Please note that these sponges are unbleached and have been prepared primarily for art and crafts usage (although some customers do use these for bathing purposes).
