It left them very silky soft and not greasy at all. The smell is a very nice, soft vanilla scent. Very pleasant. When I tried it on my face though, it was not the same. Just a tiny amount left my face feeling like I had put Vaseline on it.(hate that feeling) I left it on, hoping that it was just temporary and would eventually feel like it did on my hands, but, it did not. I still like it and will use it, just not on my face. Will I purchase it again, probably not. I am still giving it 5 stars because it does do what it says, just not for my face.
