Uvarovite is one of the rarest of the garnet group minerals, and is the only consistently green garnet species, with an emerald-green color. It's surface is adorned with tiny garnet crystals. Using a magnifying glass you can even see their dodecahedron shape. Their intensive green color is a stunning contrast against the dark underlying matrix stone and the black sterling silver as well. // The uvarovite is safely set in a closed bezel setting that offers a certain level of protection.
