Unlike electrical tape it doesn’t seem to lose its adhesion when it gets damp or wet. And is stretchy. It will let water through as it is a hessian type material. It should cope with getting wet or damp and not come unstuck but I would imagine being submersed for extended periods would cause it to fail! **Q: Can this be used to wrap bare ceiling spotlight wires?** A: Not really, I would recommend PVC insulating tape for this purpose, the fleece tape is really for bundling several insulated wires together, i.e. wiring loom on a vehicle ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality TESA tape *by J***F on 11 October 2025* Tesa loom tape is the best stuff if you want to make your vehicle wiring look like OEM.
