I do take it down in the winter. I haven't seen any stitches broken, as well as not a lot of fading. It's a little too long to move it inside our house for the winter. good quality and strong/durable. My kids wish it was a little stretchy. it doesn’t really stretch at all. but they still use it and I can go in it too. lol. assembly instructions are easy to follow but keep them somewhere where you can find them after you wash it! I didn’t and had to find a video online of how to attach the rope to it again to rehang it. colors wet vibrant and as expected
