It works great for him, and he's using it and drinking water instead of sugary drinks, which to me, makes it a good purchase. I do think the flavor aspect of this bottle is a little hit or miss. My son loves it, and he says that the water tastes flavored. To me, I do smell the "flavor" but I still just taste water. So I'd rather just drink water. Personally, I also don't care for the sensation of drinking from this because to me, it feels like I'm drinking from a straw that is split. I understand that is probably necessary to impart the "flavor", but I wouldn't enjoy drinking from this cup regularly. However, my son doesn't mind that issue, and he absolutely loves this cup.
