Review: Last minute purchase - survived Snowdon with ease - Bought these the day before hiking Snowdon and I also notoriously have issues breaking in shoes, causing blisters etc. This wasn't my brightest idea but the fit and comfort of these boots was excellent. No blisters, no discomfort and survived a 6hr off trail hike easily. For the cost the value of these is incredible. They're waterproof and not too heavy either. The only caveat is they are not the normal looking style for hiking or walking boots but I liked them and they held up really well.
