My knives skills are mediocre at best and slippery potatoes were always the scariest to cut. No way would I trust myself with a regular mandolin with an exposed blade. I looked at so many other mandolins with more cutting styles, but hopefully there is less plastic to break on this simple one-type-of-slice style.
