After turning four, my son simply would not fall asleep!! He would fight sleep with all the might in his little body, it didn't matter if he woke up very early in the morning... he would still want to stay up to midnight & beyond and keep me up with him. I tried to stick with different routines and gave each one enough time to work but none did... reading books, bath time, calming sounds, different room temps, longer wind down time, shorter wind down time, no screen time, new mattress, YOU NAME IT. He also refused to take melatonin gummies because it made his tummy hurt. -SIGH- The lack of sleep began affecting his behavior and eating habits.
