It looks so adorable on my girl but it is made a little large. A small normally fits my 12 pound terrier mix just fine but with this collar I've adjusted it down as tight as it will go and its still loose. It's not a big issue because I walk her on a harness anyway and I mainly wanted the collar just because its adorable but if I did need to take her out without her harness I have no doubt she could slip out of this collar. The fabric is a little softer than I thought it would be and I'm concerned it might not actually stand the test of time very well but time will tell.
