I gave the closest common color name, the closest hex code, and the contrast rating. Accessibility standards for the web suggest a minimum contrast of 4.5:1 or higher for small text (14pt) and 3:1 or higher for large text (18pt). For reference my handwriting is close to 18pt font. What this means is that if you have small handwriting, bad eyesight, or are in low light, you may not be able to read what you write with many of these colors.THICKNESS: these pens have the same thickness as a pilot G-2 07mm pen which is the golden standard of office supply pen enthusiastsPEN FUNCTIONALITY: I have not tested these extensively, but after the test page in the photos I can say these are slightly scratchy, but on par with the pilot G-2 07mm pen. They are more scratchy than a TUL gel pen, and less scratchy than a sharpie .05mm S series pen. I had no problems with skipping, but wouldn’t be surprised if they started skipping in the future.COLOR VARIETY: the colors are nice, but most are a little light if you are trying to write large amounts of text with them. The ink in many cases doesn’t match the barrel. See the photo and below where I give the closest hex color and contrast rating.BARREL: The barrel doesn’t feel premium, but also doesn’t feel cheap.
