**Q: Is the gift surgical steel as well?**
A: It’s steel with a cold plated coating but I’ve had mine for over a year and on constantly with water contact and the gold has not turned or come off.

**Q: Does both ends screw off?**
A: Nope just the top. I have quit using lately it since most pants are high-waisted these days it tends to unscrew itself. I do love it tho and will wear it with more low waisted fashion and bikinis.

**Q: Is this externally threaded?**
A: No it’s like a screw

**Q: Will the gold fade**
A: I’ve had mine for 6 months or so and it has not faded. I never take it off and always in pool and ocean.
