Product description Proper use 1.Children need the company of parents or adultsfor snorkeling. 2.Before initial use, test the tightness of themask in shallow water or swimming pool. 3.When snorkeling, it is recommended to takeregular breaks. Beginners are advised to restevery 10-20 minutes. 4.When snorkeling, don't inhale while rising.Wait till the breathing tube is above waterand the float can move freely before inhaling. 5. Full face snorkeling masks are designed for recreational surface snorkeling. It is not recommended for deep free diving. 6. It is not recommended to do intense swimming exercise while snorkeling, otherwise it will easily lead to insufficient oxygen supply in the mask, shortness of breath, resulting in dizziness and suffocation occurs.

We were worried they wouldn’t have snorkel equipment that would fit. I purchased this mask and I’m so happy we did, it did not leak, kept the salt water out of his mouth. I was right they didn’t have anything that would have fit. He’s 39” and 33lbs. This mask fit perfectly. We tried in the bathtub before we went on the cruise. We noticed it fogged up, I did research and since it’s plastic you can’t use scuba defogging methods they will scratch the lens. I used baby shampoo the night before, washed and rinsed twice, only a little fogging occurred only around the mouth part, probably because I couldn’t get the soap down in there to rub with my fingers. Look at the photo. He lasted the entire 45 minutes and had a great time. The minute we took it off and he got salt water in his mouth he started saying he was sick. The salt water is tough for the littles!! Best thing I brought on the cruise, hands down!

In fair warning, some kids do not like it and feel they can’t breathe with it on. My kid also pulls it off when she feels short of breath. We only use it in the pool and under supervision. However, she’s let some friends (age 5-6) borrow it at the pool and they, too, were able to overcome fears and start swimming around with it. Whole family was shocked at the sudden turn-around in swim fears. This can be a great tool if you’ve got a kid afraid of putting their nose in the water!
