I have a similar one that isn't holding air after 6 months.** A: Mine is 1 1/2 yrs old- use every day/ material showing wear but holds air fine! Will order again early next year--like this brand very much! **Q: Does it come with the pictured pump?** A: Yes. It has a pump. You have to close the valve and the neck device fills up with as much air as you want. **Q: Is this washable? Can you sleep in it?** A: I would recommend using a damp cloth for most cleaning needs. You can also add a little dish soap to the damp cloth for extra strain removal. We do not recommend washing in the washing machine or dry cleaning. As far as sleeping in the device we do not recommend it. Yoga meditation has helped a lot however during really stressful times the arnold Chiari neck pain and headaches and migraines get worse and I’ve been in excruciating pain for about a week.I bought this pillow and paid for overnight shipping because I really needed it. I was so grateful that after using this pillow on my neck for an hour before bed last night to my surprise I woke up without any neck pain this morning. I don’t know when was the last time I went to sleep without neck pain and woke up without neck pain. If I could wear this thing all day long and not look crazy I would.My only recommendation is that you start slow and play with pressures that feel good for you and also release the pressure slowly. I noticed that if I do it too quick too hard and too fast my headaches get worse and I can only assume it’s from the change in pressure in my head from releasing the pressure on my spine from inflating the pillow too fast or deflating it too fast.
