I have been using Clarins cleansing milk for some time now and this cleanser works every bit as well and at this price I will say it will be some time if ever before buying an expensive cleanser again when this one works so well! I wear a full face of makeup every day and I look forward to the evenings and sitting down to remove it all ... the scent doesn't bother me as it reminds me of my grandmother who used Nivea all her adult life so that wee bit of nostalgia is lovely! When removing a full face of makeup I squeeze out a little and warm between my hands first and then apply a generous layer all over my face and neck and remove with a baby wipe then I apply in the same way a thinner layer of cleanser and then pressing my hands on and off gently around my face and neck (seems to thicken the lotion a little) and then I massage into my skin for a couple of minutes and remove with a damp cotton pad! At the weekend when I want a deeper cleanse I use it somewhat like a face mask. Onto clean skin I warm it again between my hands and apply as before but after massaging it I leave it on my skin and apply a warm, damp muslin cloth onto my face then I sit a relax for 5-10 minutes, before removing gently with the cloth and then a final rinse with tepid water ... this is so nice and leaves my skin super clean and glowing! I'm so happy I decided to try this although as for the toner element I'm not so sure, I normally use the Simply Hyrdro Moisture Boost or the Avene Thermale Spring Water spray after cleansing to remove any last residual cleanser on my face! I have super dry skin and this cleanser always leaves my skin feeling fully hydrated and supple. Anyways, I super happy with this cleanser, it works wonderfully and at this price, what great value for money! ### ⭐⭐ Not for sensitive skin *by S***0 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2017* For a Neva I was surprised how harsh this was on the skin.
